Our company dance teams are National Dance Champions year after year, winning major titles and thousands of dollars in scholarships and awards. Our staff and dancers consistently win the most technical awards in ever competition entered!
Our dancers have appeared on "Dance Moms," "So you Think You Can Dance," on ESPN, at Epcot Center, Disney World, and the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. They have appeared on television programs like "Everybody Loves Raymond," "Ally McBeal" and "The Today Show. We've even had our dancers make it to Broadway, dancing in award winning musicals like "CATS," "Footloose," "Contact," "Gypsy," "Newsies," and most recently "Cinderella." Our students have majored in dance in college with full tuition scholarships, become members of university dance teams and several have opened their own dance studios.

A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE
It all started with a dream.
New England Dance Center in Westfield, MA was founded in 1981 by Loree Cloud, her dedication to her students established a strong foundation of quality dance education which continues today. Keeping with this tradition of excellence has led NEDC to be named one of the top 50 Dance Studios in the Country and #1 in the Northeast.
Loree Cloud, Founder
NEDC was founded in 1981 by Loree Cloud. Loree is the founder and former owner for 39 years at NEDC. During that time Loree and her students won many distinguished awards all over the country. The prestigious Dance Educators of America named Loree “Dance Teacher of the Year”, and the National Dance Teachers Association named NEDC “Outstanding Dance Studio”. Loree and her daughter Jade were privileged to be cast on the hit TV show Dance Moms season 4 and 4.5. Many of Loree’s students have danced in Broadway shows, appeared on TV, danced in major motion pictures, and opened their own studios. Loree is thrilled and honored to have her daughter Hayley carry on the NEDC Tradition of Excellence!
